Catherine Reese has 20 years’ experience as a professional trainer, nearly 30 years in the equine industry as a student, apprentice, trail guide, groom, catch rider, trainer, instructor, breeder, clinician, columnist, event organizer, horseshow judge, or farm manager at local, regional, national and international levels.

Successful experience in Hunters, Jumpers, Eventing, Western Pleasure, Halter, Saddleseat, Equitation, Trail, Classical Dressage, Mustang handling and training, Arabians and Half-Arabians, OTT Throughbreds, Racking Horses, imported and domestic Warmbloods, AQHA, Mules, Donkeys, and most disciplines and breeds in between.

Many wins and Championships from local level to national level with students reaching as high as national top ten rankings in their discipline.

Over the last few years has developed a genuine desire to promote the value of the quality working stock horse and mule to local equestrians, farmers, ranchers, and the general public as well as promote the donkey as a viable mount and draft animal. Through selective breeding, sound training, education, and events.

Cherokee Hills Ranch provides an excellent venue for these purposes. We can bring the best of the western ranching heritage right to our visitors.
