KIDS RODEO INFORMATION

  • Begins at 10 am Saturday, May 13, 2017
  • Entry free with ticket purchase
  • Props provided. Open to kids under 12. Prizes to everyone.

LIARS CONTEST INFORMATION

  • Begins at 9:30 am Saturday, May 13, 2017
  • Entry free with ticket purchase
  • Each contestant has 5 minutes to spin a tall tale (must be family friendly).
  • Crowd favorite wins the trophy

MULE PULL INFORMATION

EXTREME TRAIL CHALLENGE INFORMATION

  • Gambler’s Choice Format-each entry receives 2 minutes to successfully negotiate as many obstacles as possible. Points given for originality, brilliance, horsemanship/mulemanship, quality, complexity. Obstacles are given a point value and may be attempted as many times as the contestant wishes in the time allowed.
     
  • Any tack permissible, with the exception of any equipment deemed harsh or abusive.
     
  • ASTM Certified helmets recommended for all riders, required for any rider under 18 years of age.
     
  • Judges decisions are final. Excessive risk to horse or rider is discouraged and may be penalized at judge’s discretion.
     
  • Entry Fee: $10.00
     
  • Payout: $150, $100, $75
     
  • Starts at 10am Sunday, May 14, 2014. Trail course will be open for inspection and practice until 9am Sunday morning. Management reserves the right to alter course or substitute obstacles if necessary.

ENTERTAINMENT AND CAMPING INFORMATION

  • Primitive camping only on-site, shower house available: $10/night
  • Limited stalls and pens available on first come/first serve basis: $15/night
  • Portable corrals and tying out encouraged. Stallions MUST be housed in trailers when not in-hand. Negative Coggins Required.
  • Live Band 7pm-11pm in the Beer Garden Saturday, May 13, 2017. No cover charge. Karaoke 7-11 Friday, May 12, 2017.
